Enjoy craft conversations, hors d’oeuvres and spring-inspired cocktails, just blocks away from the Renwick Gallery, then bid on our auction items. Exquisite works by the Masters will be available, along with work by our 2018/19 Distinguished Artist Series artists Tim Tate, Tim Harding, Bennett Bean, and Elizabeth Brim, as well as our Chrysalis Awardee, Dean Allison and Cuba Trip organizer, Peter Dunner.

Featuring honorary guest speaker Lloyd Herman
Lloyd Herman is well-known as the Founding Director of the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum and founder of the James Renwick Alliance. Over the 15 years that he served as its founding Administrator and then Director, he organized 113 exhibitions. The University of Washington Press once called him “one of the foremost authorities on America’s contemporary craft movement.” In 1988, he moved to Bellingham, Washington where he has become a consultant, a prolific free-lance curator, lecturer, writer and frequent juror throughout the United States and in over ten foreign countries.
