Join the James Renwick Alliance in this opportunity to visit world-class museums in Havana, Cuba and meet with artists in their studios. Focusing on the arts in Cuba, this amazing trip will include painting, papermaking, ceramics, performing arts, street art, and culture. In addition, we will explore other forms of arts including dance and music.

$3945 per person for Single Room
$3570 per person for Double Room 

Includes: Lodging at Hotel Parque Central, full buffet breakfasts, 7 lunches, 5 dinners, private bilingual tour guide and driver, ground transportation, Cuba visa, a $500 contribution to the James Renwick Alliance, all gratuities and admissions
Not included: Airfare, dinners on your own and optional activities

9:00am Walking tour around Cathedral Square to visit: Workshop of graphic arts, Wilfredo Lam Gallery, and Factoria Habana Gallery

Tour private studios in Old Havana
5:00pm Return to hotel
7:00pm Dinner


Day 3
9:00am Visit private gallery
10:30am See Ludwig Foundation (Leading non-profit supporting Cuban art and cultural)
12:00pm Light lunch
1:30pm Visit private studios
Return to hotel for free time


Day 4
9:00am See the African influence in cuba at Callejon de Hamel where street art is everywhere, and performances happen often
10:00am Tour of Vedado neighborhood (Havana’s “forbidden” neighborhood). Pass by Revolution Square, Havana University, Colon Cemetery
10:30am Visit Dance Company
12:00pm Lunch at Fuster's studio and gallery (A fantastic house of mosaics that extends into the community)
1:00pm Visit private studios
4:00pm Visit Hotel national with cocktails (Located across the road from the waters of Bahía de la Habana, this historic hotel has art deco details dating from 1930.

9:30am Visit ISA University (tour around Superior Instite of art)
10:30am Visit Finca La Vigía - Ernest Hemingway's Home & Musseum
12:30pm Lunch
Visit Private studios
5:00pm Return to hotel
7:00pm Dinner


Day 6
9:00am Daytrip to Matanzas art district which includes: Visit to publisher of handmade books, Ediciones Vigia, Private art studios, Lunch and a visit to Pharmaceutical museum
5:00pm Return to Havana
Dinner on your own

9:30am Visit private art studios
11:00am Visit Almacenes San Jose craft market for shopping
12:30pm Lunch
Free afternoon for personal interests
