Dominie Nash
Dominie Nash is a well known full-time studio art quilter who has been in over 30 exhibitions and featured in almost a dozen publications. During our visit, we will be seeing her newest body of work. "My work involves collaging and stitching fabrics. The recent Stills From a Life pieces use found domestic textiles as a base on which I build a composition using my hand-dyed and printed fabric."

Hillary Steel
Hillary Steel is a teacher and artist who specializes in weaving and resist dye processes. Her work has been included in national and international exhibitions, public and private collections. She is a recipient of a 2018 Maryland State Arts Council Individual Artist Award. Steel’s work embodies a strong international presence, influenced by traditional textiles and travels throughout Cote d'Ivoire, Peru, Chile and Mexico. Since 2006, she has devoted time to studying Mexican jaspe rebozo weaving on back strap looms with master weaver Don Evaristo Borboa Casas. This focus has greatly influenced her current work.

Saaraliisa Ylitalo
Saaraliisa Ylitalo has been working in textile arts for over 40 years. She has lived and taught abroad in Costa Rica, Japan, Peru and South Africa. While in Kyoto, she fell in love and studied Washi (handmade paper) which she now uses along with a myriad of fiber and paper techniques. “My work has always been a reflection of events, real and physiological in my life or in the lives of those around me. So in that way my work has been about the natural weather in our lives between turbulent and calm times.”
