POSTPONED: The 37th annual Spring Craft Weekend in Washington, DC has been postponed to October 23-25, 2020.  The RSVP deadline is now October 9. 



Friday, October 23: Caucus Day (For Patrons and Caucus Members only)

Caucus Members and Patrons are invited to a rare visit to the George Washington University Textile Museum Avenir Foundation Conservation and Collections Resource Center, an afternoon brunch, and a tour of two private craft collections in Reston, Virginia. 

Saturday, October 24: Public Symposium

Our Distinguished Educators will speak about their experiences and inspiration, share student work, and discuss the field of craft education. The conversation will be moderated by Jane Milosch, founding Director of the Smithsonian Provenance Research Initiative.

Saturday, October 24: Carnival of Craft 
Be dazzled at the Carnival of Craft featuring magicians, performers, craft-inspired appetizers and cocktails. Celebrate our One-of-a-Kind awardee, Gisele Huberman, bid on artwork by the honorees, try your luck on our wheel of fortune, and bid on an art-related experience at the silent auction.

Sunday, October 25: Awards Brunch
Celebrate the 2020 Distinguished Educators as they accept their awards and enjoy a scrumptious brunch designed by Hotel Monaco executive chef Kyoo Eom.

Support Spring Craft Weekend by taking out an ad in our weekend program. This event has always brought some of the country's top Craft supporters together in one place with over 500 cumulative participants. As part of the weekend, we produce a Spring Craft Weekend Program for all event attendees. This small publication features the Masters of the Medium biographies and information about the weekend, along with ads from a number of arts-related businesses and supporters of the James Renwick Alliance.
