Ceramic

Metamorphosis is a series of sculptural forms inspired by both sea and land; unusual creatures and objects shaped by the environment and passage of time. The sculptures are organic forms that are at once reminiscent of aquatic creatures or botanical growth (the body), fused and evolving from a structural host (the base).

Stoneware with porcelain slip, wheel thrown, hand altered and carved composite form, with blue glass, soda high temperature fired.
