Thursday evening , March 27, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
The James Renwick Alliance Evening. Deena and Jerry Kaplan, the 2014 One-of-a-Kind Award recipients, will host a reception at their home, celebrating all patrons, the 2014 Distinguished Educators, past One-of-a-Kind Award recipients and 2014 Spring Craft Weekend volunteers and committee members. Invitation only.

Friday evening, March 28, 5:00 - 7:00 p.m
Reception at the residence of H.E. Rudolf Bekink, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the United States of America and 2014 Spring Craft Weekend Honorary Chair. Mr. Jan Kennis, Cultural Attaché of the Embassy of Kingdom of the Netherlands, will address the subject Dutch Art, Craft and Architecture, in reference to the Craft Leaders Caucus study tour to the Netherlands in May.
Saturday morning, March 29, 10:30 a.m. – 12 noon
Panel discussion Materialism: The Medium or the Message at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Nan Tucker McEvoy Auditorium. Moderated by: Elisabeth Agro, The Nancy M. McNeil Associate Curator of American Modern and Contemporary Crafts and Decorative Arts at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Panelists: the 2014 JRA Distinguished Educators Dan Dailey, Peter Held, Glen Kaufman and Patti Warashina.
Saturday evening, March 29, 6:30 - 10:30 p.m.
Black and White Ball at the Historic Willard InterContinental Hotel. Evening will include a preview reception for Patrons, cocktails, dinner, the live and silent auctions and the One-of-a-Kind Award presentation to Deena and Jerry Kaplan.
Sunday, March 30, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
An Awards brunch will honor the four Distinguished Educators: Dan Dailey, Peter Held, Glen Kaufman and Patti Warashina at the St. Regis Hotel.
