The James Renwick Alliance and Arlington Arts partner to host Coffee & Conversation with printer Amos Paul Kennedy Jr. Mr. Kennedy is currently a visiting artist with Arlington Arts, where he is bringing awareness to Arlington’s civil rights history with a focus on the 60th anniversary of the desegregation of Stratford Junior High School last year and the 60th anniversary of the lunch counter sit-ins this year.

Meet Mary Savig, the Lloyd Herman Curator of Craft at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Savig joined the Renwick Gallery staff in January. She was the curator of manuscripts at the Smithsonian Archives of American Art from 2013 - 2018. During our talk we'll learn about her background in the field and her current projects including an exhibit entitled "Subversive, Skilled, Sublime: Fiber Art by Women" that opens early 2021.
